What are AI generated illustrations?
In most of the industry, "AI generated illustrations" means artwork produced by a model that learned to draw from millions of scraped images — work that real artists made and never agreed to hand over. The output can look impressive, but its foundations are murky, and for commercial work that murkiness follows you around: who owns the style, whose art trained the model, what happens if that question ever lands on your project.
Ours are built differently, and the difference is the whole point. When we generate an illustration, the source material is our own library — scenes our illustrators drew by hand, one decision at a time. We take a best-selling hand-drawn set and rebuild it in a new rendering: paper craft, 3D, a different texture, a different finish. The drawing underneath stays ours. The meaning stays intact. Practically speaking, a remix works like any other pack: high-resolution files with transparent backgrounds, the same commercial and personal use licence, free updates, and the same one-click drop into a slide, a landing page or a doc. The label changes what you know about the artwork — not what you can do with it.
Why human-made cannot be replaced
Let us be direct about something, because it would be strange for a company that sells AI remixes not to be: AI is not going to replace our illustrators, and it is not going to replace hand-drawn work. Not here, and — we would argue — not anywhere quality matters.
A hand-drawn pack is hundreds of decisions that all agree with each other. The illustrator decides how thick a line should be and then holds that decision across two hundred scenes. They decide what a character finds funny, how a shoulder slumps when a payment fails, which three objects tell the story of "empty inbox" without a single word. That agreement — that consistency of intent — is what makes a library feel like one voice instead of a folder of clip art.
AI can echo the surface of those decisions. It cannot make them. Which is exactly why our remixes are always derived from finished human work rather than asked to invent their own: the intent is inherited, never simulated.

Illustration is our line of work and our illustrators' livelihood. The rules we run AI under exist to protect both.
1 · We only remix our own artwork
No scraped datasets, no other artists' styles, no gray areas. The source is always a pack we drew ourselves, in a studio we pay, by people we know.
2 · Our library trains nobody's model
None of our artwork has ever been licensed or used to train an AI model — ours included. Remixing conditions on a few drawings at generation time; nothing learns from the library and keeps it.
3 · Everything AI touches is labeled
The "Remixed by AI" mark appears on the pack cover, the pack page, the sticky bar and the lightbox. You always know what you are looking at, before you spend anything.
4 · Humans stay the default
AI-remixed packs sit beside the hand-drawn library, never instead of it. New original packs keep shipping the way they always have — drawn by hand.
None of this is a legal disclaimer we were forced to write. It is the deal we made with ourselves before the first remix shipped: if using AI ever means taking from other artists, hiding what a thing is, or replacing the people who built this library, we stop. Until then, these four rules are the fence it runs inside.
The trade-offs, honestly
AI-generated work has real downsides. We would rather tell you ourselves than have you find out after checkout.
It can be inconsistent
Two remixes of sibling scenes can drift apart in detail and finish in a way a human illustrator never would. Mostly it holds; sometimes it wobbles.
It hallucinates
Sometimes the AI invents an extra hand, a floating object, a shape that was never in the original drawing. We catch most of these in curation. Not all.
It can miss the point
Occasionally a remix loses the original scene's meaning — the joke flattens, the metaphor blurs, the emotion the illustrator drew in just is not there anymore.
We curate every set and drop the failures, but AI is AI — some of this survives curation, and pretending otherwise would be marketing, not honesty. No. Every pack starts as hand-drawn artwork by our human illustrators, and that does not change. A small number of packs are AI remixes of that same artwork into new styles — and each one is labeled "Remixed by AI".
What exactly does the "Remixed by AI" label mean?
The pack was generated from our original human-made designs and altered with AI — a restyle of our own drawings, not artwork invented by a model. The label appears on the pack's cover, page and lightbox.
Was your artwork used to train AI models?
Never — not by us and not by anyone else. Remixing conditions the AI on a handful of our own drawings at generation time; nothing is trained on our library, and nothing in our library comes from anyone else's.
Can AI replace your illustrators?
No — and we are not trying to make it. AI can echo the surface of a finished style; it cannot make the hundreds of agreeing decisions that create one. Every remix depends on hand-drawn originals existing first, which is why our illustrators keep drawing and our new packs keep shipping hand-made.
