Doodle Line Icons is a set of 2,673 doodle icons drawn in black ink, in 50 topic sets that run from banking and cyber security to pizza, Halloween and outer space. Each one looks like it was sketched with a felt pen in the margin of a notebook: slightly wobbly lines, loose corners, little details that a strict grid would never allow.
That loose line is the reason to pick this pack. A doodle icon next to a heading says "a person made this", which is hard to get from a geometric icon set, and it softens dense topics like finance, data or security.
Every icon is drawn on a 96 px artboard in one dark ink colour, a warm near black that reads softer than pure black on white. The line has a hand wobble, uneven ends and the odd gap where the pen lifted. Solid areas are rare, so the icons stay light and airy even when you put twenty of them in a grid.
The lines were turned into shapes in Illustrator, which keeps the felt pen thickness exactly as drawn at any size. You can't change the stroke weight, but you also can't break the look by accident. Recolouring is one fill change.
Fifty sets of 50 to 59 icons each, spread across work, life and the calendar:
Business and money: bank buildings, safe boxes, ATMs, money bags, management charts and marketing megaphones
Tech: computer hardware, databases, networks, cyber security, crypto and blockchain, web development
Food and drink: pizza, burgers, burritos, kebabs, fruit and vegetables, coffee and soda bottles
Life and leisure: travel, hotels, sports, music instruments, fashion, beauty, kids and babies
Seasons and occasions: Christmas, Halloween, summer, parties, love and romance
There are practical sets too, for education and elearning, medical and pharmacy, shipping and delivery, real estate, weather, maps, stationery and infographics.
Blogs, newsletters and content sites are the natural home for doodle icons. A food blog can mark recipe steps with the kitchen and food sets, and an education site can run the elearning set down a course page without it feeling like a corporate dashboard.
Brands with a playful voice get a lot out of it too: coffee shops, kids products, party planners, small online shops. The ink line prints well, so the same icons work on menus, flyers, stickers and packaging.
For SaaS and fintech, doodles are a smart way to make heavy topics friendlier. The cyber security, crypto and finance sets explain features on a landing page without the cold look of a typical tech icon.
In Figma, paste the SVG and recolour the ink in one step, or keep it near black and add one accent colour behind the icon as a soft blob. The GetIllustrations Figma plugin lets you search these icons by name without leaving your file.
On the web, the SVGs are light enough to use inline in React, Next.js or Webflow. If you want a coloured version before downloading, the SVG colour editor changes the ink colour in your browser.
A tip: doodles look best a little larger than a UI icon, around 48 to 96 px, where the wobble in the line is visible. At 16 px they turn into regular icons and lose their charm.
All 2,673 icons come in every format you need:
SVG, for web, apps and Figma
PNG at 512 and 1024 px with a transparent background
AI, the original Adobe Illustrator files, one per set with every icon on its own artboard
An Iconjar library for browsing and dragging icons on a Mac

You can't resell or share the icon files on their own, or use them to train AI models. Credit is welcome but not required, and the full terms are on the licence page.
Want the same playful feel in colour? Doodle Icons is a separate set with filled colour doodles. For a rougher, brushier line, look at Hand Drawn Icons, and when you need a clean line icon for the parts of your product that should feel precise, Curvy Icons sits well next to these.
